Welcome to My WillX! My WillX is an inspiring social network where you can connect with people who share values ​​of hope, overcoming challenges, and love for life. We also offer the Vault – a secure digital vault for you to store timeless messages, photos, videos, and important documents, to be accessed by the people you choose, at the right time.

By using My WillX, you accept these Terms of Service. Please read carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use My WillX. By registering, you declare that you have the legal capacity to accept these terms.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• Notify us immediately in case of unauthorized use of your account.
• You can delete your account at any time (by contacting support).

4. User Content

• You are solely responsible for the content you post on the social network or save in the Vault.
• You guarantee that you have rights to this content and that you do not violate the rights of third parties (copyright, privacy, etc.).
• My WillX does not claim ownership of your content.

5. The Vault – Digital Vault

The Vault is a private and secure space for you to store eternal messages – words, photos, videos, or documents of emotional and affective value that you wish to leave for the people you love.

Confidentiality and Security Commitment:

• The contents of the Vault are encrypted on the server and are inaccessible to the My WillX team or third parties.
• Decryption is done automatically only when the recipient meets the release conditions defined by you (future date and/or inactivity of the owner).
• In case of legal obligation (e.g., court order), we may be required to disclose content.

Important Limitations:

• The Vault is designed for messages of an affectionate, emotional, and social nature (love letters, life advice, family memories, words of support).
• We do not recommend keeping extremely sensitive or critical information, such as passwords, bank codes, PINs, or confidential financial data.
• For this type of information, we suggest specialized banking security services or notary vaults.

My WillX is committed to protecting your privacy, but cannot guarantee absolute protection against future risks (e.g., legal or technological changes).

Management of Files Uploaded

Files uploaded to the My WillX Vault that have a specified release date will be automatically and permanently deleted if that date has passed by more than 30 days and the vault owner has remained active on the platform (logged in within the last 3 months). Prior to definitive deletion, the owner will receive an email notification at least 15 days in advance, allowing them to update the release date if they wish to retain the content. This measure aims to promote conscious and up-to-date management of your digital legacy, preventing indefinite accumulation of outdated content.

6. Subscription Plans

• We offer Free, Premium, and Gold plans.
• Paid plans are managed through Paid Memberships Pro.
• By subscribing to a paid plan, you accept the recurring payment terms.
• You can cancel or change your plan at any time in your member area.

7. My WillX Responsibilities

• We are committed to protecting your privacy and data security.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability (we may have maintenance or technical problems).
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or the law.

8. Prohibited Content

It is not permitted to publish or save content that is:

• Illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or hate-inducing
• Pornographic or explicit
• That violates copyright or privacy rights of third parties

9. Account Cancellation and Deletion

• You may request the deletion of your account at any time.
• Content in the Vault will be permanently deleted (not recoverable).
• In case of serious violation of these terms, we may suspend or delete your account.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify members by email or on the platform in case of significant changes.

11. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Portugal.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share your personal data on the My WillX platform, including the Vault digital vault.

By using My WillX, you accept this Privacy Policy.

1. Data We Collect

We only collect the data necessary to offer a secure and personalized experience:

Data provided by you:

• Registration information (name, email, password).
• Profile data (photo, biography, interests).
• Content you publish on the social network (posts, comments, private messages).
• Content saved in the Vault (texts, photos, videos, documents, release dates, recipient emails, optional access code).

Data collected automatically:

• Usage data (pages visited, session time, device, browser, IP address).
• Cookies and similar technologies to improve experience and security.

2. How we use your data: We use your data to:

• Allow the social network and Vault to function.
• Send important notifications (e.g., access to content released in Vault).
• Improve the platform and offer personalized features.
• Ensure security and prevent abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Vault Content:

• Vault content is encrypted on the server and inaccessible to the My WillX team.
• It is automatically decrypted only when the recipient meets the conditions you have defined.
• We do not access, review, or use this content for any purpose.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

We only share data in the following cases:

• With recipients you have indicated in Vault, when the release conditions are met.
• With trusted service providers (e.g., hosting, email, payments) that operate under confidentiality agreements.
• When required by law or to protect rights and security (e.g., court order).

4. Data Security

We take rigorous measures to protect your data:

• Encryption of Vault content.
• Secure transmission via HTTPS.
• Strict access control.
• Regular and protected backups.

Despite our efforts, no online transmission is 100% secure. We recommend that you do not save highly sensitive information in the Vault (e.g., bank passwords, PINs).

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Request deletion of your account and content from the Vault (permanent and unrecoverable).
• Withdraw consent (where applicable).
• Lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.

6. Data Retention

• We retain your data while your account is active.
• Vault content remains until account deletion or fulfillment of release conditions.
• After account deletion, data is permanently removed (except for anonymous backups for disaster recovery).

Concerning the retention of personal data and content in the My WillX Vault, we inform you that files with a specified release date will be automatically deleted 30 days after that date if the vault owner continues to be active on the platform. This deletion will only occur after sending an email notice with a minimum of 15 days advance warning, ensuring the user has the opportunity to update the release date. This practice aims to ensure responsible data management and prevent indefinite retention of potentially outdated content.

7. Policy Changes

We may update this Policy. We will notify you of significant changes via email or on the platform.
